What’s with the duck in the basket?

No joking, I’ve always been freaked out by the idea of going to sleep and never waking up. I’m sure lots of people are. But anyway this quote is one I remember from my childhood that scared the shit out of me. It still does a bit.
This joke’s a double whammy.
Abe references the fact that he’s old, and dying in his sleep just might happen to him, AND it’s a quote from the Nightmare on Elm Street, on which this short is based.
