“Eva Longoria talks about voicing Isabel, “a new student who is finally Lisa’s intellectual equal,” in an upcoming episode of The Simpsons” I just read this, and found it funny because a couple days ago you posted a QotD from Lisa’s Rival, the episode upon which this idea is being aped. Yet again, the Simpsons already did it.

Actually Allison (from Lisa’s Rival) was better than Lisa than everything. So in a way, this Isabel character, if she is indeed Lisa’s intellectual ‘equal’ would be something different.

And what happened to that girl Juliet Hobbs in that Equalia episode. I guess she was Lisa’s creative equal, until the writers decided to make her nuts and Lisa decided that she was a loser.
