Quote of the Day

“How do you find the defendant?” – Kickin’ It Judge
“He’s guilty of mayhem, exposure indecent!” – First Juror
“Freak out behavior, both chronic and recent!” – Second Juror
“Drinking and driving, narcotics possession!” – Jury
“And that’s just page one of his ten page confession.” – Third Juror
“I should put you away where you can’t kill or maim us, but this is L.A., and you’re rich and famous!” – Kickin’ It Judge

Happy 20th Anniversary to “The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson”

Gotta love that judge and his powerful vocals!

Even if this episode has a few weak points, I still love it overall, and this song is a good example of why. I think of that last line in particular whenever I hear about celebrities or rich people in general doing stupid shit and basically getting a slap on the wrist for it.

Uh oh, does that mean next week is the 20th anniversary of “The Principal and the Pauper”?

Gotta keep my pre-S9 DVDs close to me.

It always bothered me that a jury was asked to reach a verdict on someone who had confessed.
