Unrelated to QOTD, but have you noticed a discrepancy, after checking past years on the calendar on your smartphone, between what Wikipedia & most other sources says episodes of the Simpsons first aired, and what Wikipedia & most other sources say about ‘switching from Sundays to Thursdays in 1990’ & then ‘switching back to Sundays in early 1997’? Perhaps some official sources or specialists/experts/authorities have some explaining to do?

Correction: the Simpsons DID move to Thursdays starting with season 2.

But they were still wrong about the other part. It actually moved back to Sundays much earlier than documented, starting with season 6. So I was still on to something anyways.

EDIT: The whole endeavor was pointless after all, since I didn’t read the wiki page on Simpsons history. My bad. :P

This “College for Maggie” gag always makes me laugh.

BTW, apologies if this has been mentioned before, but does the DHS have any comments of “Discenchantment”?

My verdict; “Disenchantment” starts off weak, but starts to gather strenght around the sixth episode,
“Swamp and Circumstance”. By the end, it’s become sufficiently good that I am eagerly waiting the
    new series.

What is “Disenchantment”? Is it that new Groening show?

“What is “Disenchantment”? Is it that new Groening show?”

Yes indeedy. If “The Simpsons” was Groening’s take on the domestic sitcom and “Futurama” his
take on space opera, then “Disenchantment” is his spin on high fantasy.

        Trailer is here:
